The Carolina Weddings Show | 2.2.13

It was a great day for a wedding show at the Benton Convention Center in downtown Winston-Salem last Saturday, February 2nd! We enjoyed meeting lots of brides and grooms (and seeing some old friends!) at the Piedmont’s longest-running bridal show. In case you missed it, here’s a little re-cap of the day:

We LOVE the idea of this beautiful, farmhouse-style rustic dining table in the Barn! Perfect for a display table outside or for a loft reception – so many possibilities! We saw it at the booth belonging to Grand Rental Station of Greensboro, NC:

Join Us for the Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show on September 9th at WinMock

Hey there all of you fabulous Triad brides-to-be! The Perfect Wedding Guide would like to cordially invite you to their upcoming Bridal Show being held here at WinMock at Kinderton on Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 1:00 to 4:30 pm.

 Billed as one of the Triad’s most intimate and elegant bridal events, this signature event will feature over 40 Winston-Salem and Greensboro area wedding professionals, including Sterling By Design and Sterling Audio Visual. During the show Triad brides will discover wedding planning resources and trends for a variety of budgets.

“Brides will meet vendors who will appeal to each bride’s unique personality in a fun and energetic setting,” says Triad Perfect Wedding Guide publisher, Gail Galloway.  “We are excited to bring our popular bridal show to this newly renovated facility, which is just east of Winston-Salem,” says Galloway. “A special feature will be our boutique rooms that target specific details for weddings.”

Triad brides and their guests are invited to be inspired and discover all the products and services they will need for their big day. During the Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show thousands of dollars in door prizes will be given to some winning attendees. One lucky bride-to-be will win a romantic honeymoon getaway, compliments of Scully Travel!

The first 100 brides to arrive will receive a free CD Bridal Name Change Kit.  All brides will receive a Bride’s Tote Bag. Many vendors will offer special show discounts.

A Giant Thank YOU

We want to extend a giant thank you to the hundreds of you who joined us for our Anniversary Event and Food Drive! Together we collected over 1,400 pounds of food to stock the shelves of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina. Your generous donations will help feed hundreds in need this summer. Summer is a critical time for donations as many children go hungry without the aid of government supported school lunch. We appreciate you taking time out of your Sunday to help us make sure those needs are more likely met.

Katelyn Marks Performing at WinMock’s One Year Anniversary!

We hope you have your calendars marked for JUNE 10th friends! 

It’s our big Sharing the Abundance, One Year Anniversary Open House here at WinMock! We hope to see your shining faces here from 2:00pm – 5:00pm as we collect donations for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina. Come  join us for a peek inside the barn one year later and help us share the abundance for a vital community cause.

Just confirmed!  We’re delighted to announce that local recording artist (and WinMock bride!) Katelyn Marks will be performing on our East Terrace during the event!

Andrew and Julie {Winston Salem Rehearsal Dinner}

The night before.  The wedding plans are in place.  Every detail has been checked.  Families and friends have arrived. 

It’s a night to reminisce, share toasts and well wishes.  It’s a night that marks the beginning of a lifelong celebration as two families become one. 

There is such a special air that surrounds rehearsal dinners and Julie and Andrew’s is one that has lingered in our minds.  It was an evening filled with personal touches, country music and inspired vintage decor created by our good friends at Rebecca Rose Events and captured by Jessica Lobdell Photography.  Here’s a look back at the special night before Julie and Andrew said “I Do”.
